Abingdon Baptist Church seeks to safeguard all people
Abingdon Baptist Church has a deep concern for the wholeness and well-being of each individual. ABC seeks to safeguard the welfare of all people, regardless of age, who come into contact with the Church and its organisations.
As members of this church, we commit ourselves to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of all, especially children and young people and adults who may be vulnerable. It is the responsibility of each individual within the fellowship of the Church to prevent the physical, sexual, emotional, financial and spiritual abuse of anyone, and to report any abuse discovered or suspected.
Our Commitment to Safeguarding
Abingdon Baptist Church takes the responsibility and duty of safeguarding for all God’s people extremely seriously. We follow the policies set out by the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Further information can be provided, please do contact us directly if you would like more information or you have any questions or concerns around safeguarding.
