When do church services take place?
Our Sunday morning services start at 10.30. We do have occasional afternoon or evening services which will be advertised on this site.
What should I expect?
You will receive a very warm welcome, particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and help you find a seat. As a rule our worship begins with a time of singing some songs/hymns. We then have one or two Bible readings, and our speaker will preach a sermon relating to them. We will usually include time in our service to pray for the needs of our community and the world. After the service, which normally lasts for about an hour, we serve tea, coffee and biscuits. This is a great opportunity to meet people, ask questions or ask someone to pray with you (we have a prayer team who are always happy to pray with you.)
What happens to the children at church?
If you come with children or young people, we have activities for them from 0-18 during the service. Sometimes they leave for their groups. Other weeks we run all-age family services, giving them the opportunity to remain and take part in the main service. During these services, crèche facilities are available for any who need them.
All of our children’s and youth workers are DBS checked and trained so you can be confident your children are in a safe and happy space.
Is there a dress code?
No, please be yourself and come dressed however you will feel comfortable.
Will I have to join in?
We are very happy for you to come and ‘take a look’ and see what we are all about. We want everyone to feel at ease, so feel free to take part as much or as little as you want.
I have more questions how can I ask them?
Please ask one of the Welcome Team. If you want to ask something online please click here and complete the contact form. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
