When do church services take place?
Our Sunday services start at 10.30. We do have occasional evening services which will be advertised on this site.
What should I expect?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and help you find a seat. We usually start our morning service with a time of worship and then the children and young people will go to their groups. We then have a bible reading and then one of our ministers will preach a sermon relating to that. We will usually include time in our service to pray for the needs of our community and the world. After the service (which usually lasts for about 90 minutes) we serve tea, coffee and biscuits. This is a great opportunity to meet people, ask questions or ask someone to pray with you (we have a prayer team who are always happy to pray with you.)
What happens to the children at church?
If you come with children or young people then we have fantastic activities for them from 0-18 during the service. After our opening time of worship the children and young people leave for their groups.
On occasion, we run all age family services, giving the children the opportunity to remain and take part in the main service. During these services, the crèche still runs for those who need it.
All of our Children’s and Youth Workers are DBS checked and trained so you can be confident your children are in a safe and happy space.
Is there a dress code?
No please be yourself and come dressed in your ‘normal’ clothes
Will I have to join in?
We are very happy for you to come and ‘take a look’ and see what we are all about. We want everyone to feel comfortable so feel free to take part, as much or as little, as you want.
I have more questions how can I ask them?
Please ask on a Sunday, Steve (our minister) or one of the Welcome Team. If you want to ask something online please click here and complete the contact form. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
