In the middle of March, 
Paul surprised us with the news that he would be leaving us at the end of June to take up the role of General Secretary of Churches Together in England, the ecumenical body that links the work of 44 different denominations in this country. We will have more time later to express our thanks for his time serving us at ABC, but for now we congratulate him on being appointed to such a significant national post.

We knew Paul and Gill many years ago at Streatham Baptist Church Lewin Road and worked alongside them them in the church activities. Although not having contact for a long time we have followed there ministry with our prayers. Paul is an excellent choice for his new position within Churches Together and we assure him of our continued prayer support. May our precious Lord give him great wisdom in this new leadership role.
