Family Church

Family Church

On Sunday mornings we welcome families to join with us in our morning worship. We believe in supporting the whole family on their journey of faith. Young people meet for family church activities in alternate weeks and on other Sundays the main services are all-age, integrating our families into our worship.

In the coming term family church activities will be happening on 24 April, 8 May, 22 May, 5 June, 19 June, 3 July and 17 July. On 1 May family church will be leading the church service on the theme ‘The Bread of Life’.

We are aiming to develop a strong Christian family within Abingdon Baptist Church which is meaningful, exciting and an integral part of the church. Our young people are also committed to reaching out in service to the world: they recently raised £225 for the BMS Ukraine appeal.

Child Safety

We recognise our responsibility to provide a safe environment for all children and young people, safeguarding their interests and well being within the Church. All leaders and helpers hold enhanced DBS checks in line with the Baptist Union’s Safe to Grow policy.
