Riding or Striding… on a very wet day.

As part of the nationwide heritage weekend, the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust organised a “Ride and Stride” event encouraging participants to visit as many of the county’s Churches as possible during the day. This is an annual activity, but despite the decidedly wet weather this year, our Church was visited by a good number of hardy cyclists.

All visitors were given a warm welcome, refreshments, and there was a small display of the Church’s history for those with time to learn a little more about us.

Here’s hoping for a drier day for the 20th anniversary celebrations of 35 Ock St this coming Saturday!
